Kelsey and Adam had high hopes for a May 4th wedding in the gorgeous gardens at the Duke Mansion, in Charlotte, NC. The day came and had other plans, with spring showers in the area throughout the morning, it was inevitable we would have to switch to a Plan B. While the boys enjoyed their Star Wars puzzles and Lego sets upstairs in the conference room, our team moved swiftly and began to set for an indoor ceremony. The rain plan location at The Duke Mansion is limited so we didn’t exactly have anything heavily planned, just the usual deal, but with the official guest count being something we could have some fun with, myself and the florist made the executive decision to give Kelsey and Adam a ‘wow’ moment! We decided to place them centered between the french doors that lead out to their initial ceremony spot, framed them in with their stunning florals and gathered their family and closest friends for the most intimate and stunning ceremony, that foyer has ever seen! Just before the ceremony, we were able to sneak them out for a First Look and plenty of Bridal Portraits before the heavy rains came! The reception followed and everything else went off without a hitch!
